Usually bad connections increase the electric resistance of the system mesh, changing the reading pattern of a RTD based temperature sensor. In accordance with the RTD conversion table, as you increase resistance, temperature increase. In my case I’m experiencing a bad connection but the temperature is very gradually decreasing in a 6 month period. Does anyone know what could cause a bad connection that could decrease the electric resistance of my mesh, thus decreasing the temperature readings?
