Hi,
I just started a job and the company is performing the Environmental Monitoring System sensor’s calibration internally.
The process consist to apply calibrated value to sensor (temperature, humidity or differential pressure) and, if necessary, adjust the reading limits with the EMS user interface.
My concern is that we have now humidity software limits well outside physical limits (-5 to +120%HR).
I told them that the first step of calibration implies to have accurate reading from sensor, but has been told that loop calibration only requires to have accurate reading on the EMS interface.
Did anyone already faced such situation?
Is there a risk to get faulty reading?
Thank in advance.
Perform the Zero and Span calibration, if available.
It will solve most calibration related issues.
