I have a question regarding muting programming.
Most of the muting goes with two or 4 sensors directly connected to the light barrier (I use the light barrier as an example).
I want to know if it is allowed to mute via PLC using two sensors of conveyors.
So if my product is on the end of conveyor one, the light barrier goes in muting mode and when the second sensor (the begin sensor of conveyor two) does not give a signal anymore (the product has completely passed the sensor and thus the light barrier), the light barrier stops the muting mode.
Is this allowed yes or no?
