Sufficient cable entries on Ex e certified instrument junction boxes should be at the bottom and sides which should maintain the certification and IP rating of the enclosure.
Unused entries in the enclosure should be sealed by blanking elements that comply with EN 60079-0 and can maintain the degree of ingress protection and the Ex rating.
